Tim Nekritz, elected Treasurer, is the Director of Communications at SUNY Oswego, where he leads digital
storytelling, media relations, and crisis communications. A pioneer in higher education social media strategy,
Tim developed the college’s major social platforms and frequently presents nationally and internationally on
digital content and communication strategy. He is also a college instructor, musician, and active member of
the arts community. Tim holds degrees from SUNY Oswego, SUNY Brockport, and Cayuga Community College,
reflecting his deep roots in the SUNY system and lifelong commitment to public education and community
engagement.
